Management Consulting in the Digital Age 2022
The programme has a hybrid format including:
- an initial e-learning module on the fundamentals of digital transformation (accessible on Open edX – self-paced from 6 June 2022)
- in presence practice-based lectures on how management consulting companies are structuring digital transformation projects (from 11 to 15 July)
- group work on a digital transformation project assigned and supervised by a consulting company. Groupwork will start online in June, accelerate during the week in presence (July 11-15) and be completed and presented online to the consulting companies during the last week of July.
The self-paced training is made of three modules:
MODULE 1 – Principles of Digital Transformation
MODULE 2 – IT Innovations in Digital Transformation
MODULE 3 – Management Consulting Approach to Digital Transformation
The practice-based lectures and their main contents are:
DAY 1 – Digital platforms (by Accenture and Salesforce): a structured approach to leverage on the potential of digital platform for enterprise applications, according to the “adopt vs. adapt” approach.
DAY 2 – Cybersecurity and Customer journey (by Deloitte Digital): a structured approach to preserve the security of the digital operations as well as the care for the digital customers.
DAY 3 – Agility for successful digital transformation (by NTT Data Consulting): a structured approach to agile project management, where time and costs are fixed and the scope is variable.
DAY 4 - Analytics and artificial intelligence (by SAS): an in-depth analysis on how analytics and AI algorithms can improve business processes and support social goals.
DAY 5 – Intelligent enterprise and sustainability (by SAP): an interactive analysis on how enterprise software can be a pillar for monitoring and achieving sustainable goals.
