C2: Short-Term Joint Staff Training

The second short-term joint staff training event was held online due to the Covid-19 emergency and split in three sessions, held on 2 April, 29 April and 2 June 2020. In the original plan the event should have been dedicated to train the participants to the video recording  for the online course with very hands-on activities  to be conducted in work groups supported by the Educational Technologies and Teaching Innovation Unit (UTEID) of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. The adaptation to online has brought some changes in the training’s agenda, with respect to the video pre-production that needs the recording infrastructure available at Madrid.

The training was  attended by representatives from all partners and focused on:

  • General progress review of creation content processes
  • Instructional design of the MOOC contents: outline and structure, content overview and activities
  • Development of educational texts for digital platform [replacing the video pre-production activities]
  • UC3M technical team interactive review of partners work
