Universidad Carlos III de Madrid contributes to the improvement of society through teaching of the highest quality and cutting-edge research in line with stringent international guidelines. Digital education is moreover at the core of university strategy and drives and inspires innovation projects in a variety of areas.
Its Strategic Plan 2016-2022, structured around four main areas (research, education, engagement with society and good governance), considers education as a key element in the contribution of the university to society. As long as society evolves and new technologies are implemented, digital education needs to be a key factor in the revolution of educational processes.
The main strategies related to digital learning are innovating in learning methodologies and fostering curricular specificity/flexibility and individualized training processes.
